The Two Rivers Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed as a step down for PHP patients. It targets patients who require moderately-intensive structured programming. IOP may also include patients needing alternatives to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, and/or those who require more structure and support than that available through individual outpatient therapy.
The Intensive Outpatient Program is conveniently scheduled during both day and evenings hours. It offers structured, group therapy sessions. Specific additional groups include relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, anger management, grief and loss, and educational groups.
An individualized treatment plan is developed in concert with the therapist and the patient.
Discharge planning is a key IOP component. These individualized aftercare plans are developed by the treatment team to insure continued, ongoing progress post discharge. |
